NIGERIA AND HAITI SHARE MORE THAN ANCESTORS
In fact Nigeria and Haiti have the same ancestors the same struggles against slavery, they share the same mother which is AFRICA.
We are actually the puppets of powerful drug dealers who control the media. Therefore we barely know what happened and what is to be happening. Since the earthquake shattered Haiti, we are victims of a blinding process by the media. They report that Haitian poverty is related to the economic, politic and cultural convergence. We see Haiti’s sudden advance as a political illusion. For many years, Haitians have faced poverty and authority dictatorship. That largely encompasses the prolific drug exchange that has nearly existed in Haiti after the revolution that had tooken place. There are lots of problems related to the modern face that slavery is taking. Also we can't forget the dictatorship form that the country had faced in the 20 th century.
Nigeria's population as well as Haitians had suffered a lot. After the independence of 1960, the political and economic aspect of Nigeria took another turn. With the implication of the IMF, the country became poorer. Here we experienced not drug dealer problems but oil struggle problems. One of the similarities between these two country is that tey are affected by natural disasters: Haiti by the recent hearthquake and Nigeria by the severe drought during the biafran civil war.
We wonder that the process the world was and is still facing will not affect HAITIAN RENAISSANCE.
